Well...I know we've been back for over a week now... I have just been a slacker though on posting the rest of our vacation!
So here it is!
Thursday we headed to Murrieta... our first time to that cute town... Bryce and Tiffany were so kind to let us come hang out with them for a little bit. I always wish we were closer to our cousins and their cute kids. We just had a blast visiting, and still got to watch one of our favotire shows, The Office. Thanks for letting us stay with you guys. So then Friday morning we took our time getting ready, played around a little bit with Kaden and Maddy, and then headed to Long Beach.
Friday we just had a couple of hours watching the drivers practice and qualify for Saturdays drifting event. Alex loves drifting, and I must admit, it is REALLY cool to watch. I have posted a video at the bottom, for those of you who still don't understand what drifting is...haha. It's not the best quality, but it gives you a good idea.
So they had the streets of Long Beach near the convention center blocked off for the Grand Prix, which was a few days after this drifting event.

One of the drivers who is still a rookie, with not many sponsors yet, had a really great fan section...notice the two guys with the mullet wigs on...haha.
I know it's hard to tell with all the stickers and stuff done to the body of this car...but Alex is pointing to himself because that is the car that we have! Wouldn't he just love to do all that to it... I don't think so though.

It was a very fun event! And I am sure there will be many more to come that we will be going too. Alex just loves it! I am always up for a little vacation time too.
