Happy Anniversary "2" us!

Yesterday, the 26th, was our 2 year wedding anniversary!
WOW! Very exciting!

In all sillyness, I asked Alex to take a picture with me on our anniversary, what a sport!

It's pretty unbelievable to me that we've already been married that long! Things are going great I must say! We had a blast celebrating our anniversary, even though it was a Tuesday night. After I got off work, Alex was all set to take me out to dinner. He said it was a surprise, which is fun, because I love surprises! We didn't go very far. We tried a newer restaurant in Clovis called Rio Grill-Brazilian Steakhouse. It was great! If you love meat, it's a very yummy place. It's buffet style, and then all evening long they walk around with skewers of meat and you can eat as much as you can. It is on the expensive side...for us...but it was fun to spoil ourselves. I thought that's where the evening ended, but Alex had much more instore. We then went and watched Night at the Museum 2- I loved it! I really enjoyed the first one too. It really just turned out to be a wonderful evening, especially not having to make dinner, or plan out the evening! We then spent the rest of the evening hanging out at my parents, that's always fun! I love that we live close to both of our parents, it's such a treat!

I am so grateful for my wonderful husband, Alex. He has brought much joy and excitement to my life. He always makes me feel better and brings much peace to my life. I am glad he is a faithful priesthood holder, who righteously holds a calling, guides our family, and serves diligently. He takes good care of me, and I only hope that I do the same for him. I look forward to many more fun years as we continue to grow closer to one another! I love you Alex!

My mother in law, Donna, decided to start a cute tradition this year, of making us a miniture wedding cake for our anniversary. Too cute, right? I was so tickled that she was thinking of us on our anniversary. Thanks Donna!

Now the celebration continues this weekend... yay! More fun bloggin on that Monday, or Tuesday when we get back in town...

Congratulations on two years. They do go by so fast. The key to many more happy years (in my opinion) is to keep having fun together even when times are tough. Which, from the picture, it looks like you do. :)
