First swim of the summer!

It's about time, right?

July 1st and I finally dipped in the pool for a minute. I am so excited that both my parents, and my inlaws have a pool. Hopefully we will get more swimming in than last year. It makes for such a fun cooling activity.

I remember as a kid how much fun we always had running through the sprinkles. We had the best ones too because the backyard was huge, and they were like the best sprinklers. That's all I can say. My siblings will definitely agree with me.

So sometimes it stinks being an adult and being all "responsible". I miss those summer days of going to grandparents houses to swim, and running through the sprinklers and being totally oblivious to how hot it was and just being outside all day long. Those were the days. I look forward to being a kid again someday when we have kids. I really can't complain though, because these days are pretty good too. Working inside the air conditioning, visiting with patients, and of course making money so that we can do fun things. I guess there's a time and place for everything in life. Now's just that time to crack down on saving up for more fun times.

Anyways, yay for swimming pools! Hopefully more swimming days are ahead for me!

I love that picture of the miller kids. They weren't big on going to the beach as kids. Thats what makes the picture great....well, and Katy running away. haha! What fun summer days!
