It's about time!

Well hello Family and Friends! Alex and I have finally decided to join the world of blogging! We are excited to share good moments with all of you, and will do our best to keep everyone updated on life here at the Miller home. Our story begins in March 2006 when we began dating which quickly lead to falling in love. Alex proposed in December 2006 while I was with his family on their traditional Disneyland trip. We were then married on May 26th 2007. Here we are over a year later now, and still loving life together. So to begin this blog I thought it would be fun to post some pictures to show our journey to where we are now. One of our first day trips was with my sister Terra and her husband Matt, we went to universal studios in May 2006. You can tell we were already in love!

We had a lot of fun with Matt and Terra. The cool part is that Matt and Alex get along like they were already brothers, so the four of us had so much fun together.

Decemeber 2006 we were engaged after Alex proposed his love to me in front of sleeping beauty's castle that evening when it was sparkling with lights. His sisters had made us shirts that we then wore the rest of the night. His said, "I just proposed" and mine said on the front, "and I said..." then on the back it said, "Yes!" Good thing he knew what my answer would be!

We had a lot of fun their on our, hanging around with other couples, some married, some soon to be married.

Alright. I know...are we to the month of May yet? Well... here we go. So on May 19th our family went to the temple so that I could recieve my endowments. It was a very special day to be there with family, and prepare for the right state of mind before marriage in the temple. It was also special because my Grandpa Clinton was able to be there with me. At the time his health was not doing well, I wasn't sure if he would be able to come with us. It was a blessing for he and Grandma to join us. Now that he is no longer on earth with us, it is especially a great memory I will always hold on to. I am grateful to have some much family that has set a righteous example to us of temple marriage, and from their lives I was able to see the blessing that I would some day want to enjoy also. So thank you to all our families, and the love and support we have been blessed with as well.

Then May 26th came around after the fun showers and parties. This is where the best celebration took place. We are so grateful to be married together forever. The blessings of the temple are beyond belief. So here are some magical pictures of the great day!

Here's a picture with our wonderful parents, they were so happy we had finally gotten married!

Alex is the oldest in the family, and the only son. I believe this is why he is such a gentleman, because he had sisters around all the time.

Here are my sweet brothers, Tyson and Jason.

Alex and his boys, Matt, Jason, Tyson and Brad. What good lookin' guys!

Me and my girls, Terra, Jessica, and Wendy!

There we are in front of the Fresno Temple.

Our cake was the most delicious ever! Thank you to our wonderful family friend, and a dear young women leader of mine, Christy West. I loved the beautiful daisies on it too!

That was our wedding day at a quick glance, of course we have many more beautiful pictures with family and friends, but just not enough room to post them all. We were so grateful for all the family and friends that came to join us. What a wonderful day we had!

Then comes the honeymoon. What a wonderful time we had. Alex's grandpa was so kind as to treat us to a beautiful timeshare in Hawaii. The greatest gift we recieved. The time share was in Ko Olina, on the island of Oahu. It was fabulous! We have such a nice time together.

Alex took this beautiful picture when we were enjoying a walk one day.

Here is our beautiful resort!

We had the opportunity to visit the Laie Temple while we were in Hawaii, and even got to do an endowment session. Around the corner from the temple is the polynesian cultural center, so that was really enjoyable also. We were glad we rented a car for two days so that we could enjoy the northern part of the island also on our trip.

You could say we lived happily ever after by this point in our marriage. The journey had only begun though and we have enjoyed many fun trips since our honeymoon. I believe I will end this blog here since the stories could go on and on. I'll be sure to post more of our fun adventures after the honeymoon was over! I mean come on, as of this it's only June 2007, here we are in June 2008, one whole year to talk about, so please keep reading what we post! Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed, and look forward to much more!
