1 Year Anniversary celebration- May 26th 2008

Our big 1 year of marriage has come! Very exciting! We are even past that now. For our exciting anniversary we thought it would be super fun to head down to the beautiful coast. This was Alex's first time actually driving further south than Disneyland! We packed up and headed down to Oceanside to enjoy some time together, and time with cousin's as well. We had such a wonderful trip! It was not a perfect weather weekend for Oceanside, it just so happened to rain that weekend, and not to mention it was memorial day weekend, so it took us almost 7 hours to get there! But hey, more time together! We stopped in Tulare and went to some outlets on our way, grabbed a bite to eat. I took about 3 bathroom stops on our way to Oceanside, and it reminded Alex about how cute I am...haha. He was so patient to pull over whenever I needed to go! Even though he was the one who had a large soda, while I had just some water....hmm.. Anyways, I think my mother would be disgusted that I dare talk about this on a blog! HA! So we arrived in Oceanside Friday night, the 23rd and stayed at the HolidayInn Express, really nice. Saturday morning we got to sleep in a little, then we went to visit with Rob, Felicity and Gracey. It was so much fun. Gracey was a doll to watch, so playful and loves her parents! We also got to go to the beach for a little bit, when the sun decided to come out. We had a great time there together. We ordered pizza that night and thought it'd be fun to just hang out at the hotel that evening....we really took a vacation! Sunday we went to church with Rob and Felicity. It was hilarious to watch active little Gracey try to sit still during church, and Felicity said it was her best sunday yet! After church we headed over to Eric and Harmony's place to visit with them and play with Skye. Alex even enjoyed holding skye(typically he prefers not to hold babies!), she is a very cute baby! Harmony made us some delicious waffles while the boys even played a little bit of video games....Alex just couldn't go a weekend without! Just kidding...he is very disiplined when it comes to video games. Bryce and Tiffany drove all the way over with Kaden and Maddy to come join in the fun. It was so nice to get together and visit. We are so blessed with awesome cousins! They were so welcoming and we had so much unforgettable fun! I hope we are blessed with wonderful children too, their kids are great! Harmony and Eric let us crash there for the night, while the boys stayed up playing around some more. We even watched the Lakers game that night, and we are lucky Eric let us stay the night with Alex cheering for the other team! Monday we just got to enjoy the day, with no rush to head home. We wandered around oceanside harbor with Eric and Harmony and enjoyed some yummy lunch and bought some delicious taffy for the ride home! It was the perfect amount of time to get away. Coming home did not take long at all, we were surprised that there was almost no traffic! Alex and I had a wonderful anniversary and remembered how much fun we have together! I love Alex he is so good to me, always doing whatever to make me happy. I was glad he agreed to visiting some cool cousins on our anniversary weekend! It was a blast. Unfortunately I did not get any pictures with adoreable Gracey, and not to mention, no pics with my cousins! how did that happen? These kids just take all the attention! haha. Anyways, we had a great time and are so blessed with wonderful family! THANK YOU to our amazing cousins for letting us come crash for the weekend!
