A way over due post!

Summer Fun continues!

Obviously I have got a little behind here in the blogging world. We have been busy working. Alex is working this summer about 40 minutes from our house, he is back up at wondervalley. Every summer for the past 5 years (with a two year break for the mission) he continues to find a reason to go back and work there. This year has been the best by far though because he finally has an awesome role to play...paintball director! Very exciting, let me just say, the kids think that Slo-mo is the greatest! He really is though! They just love when he plays games with them and doesnt just ref....they always seem to think that they will be able to shoot him out...haha...who are they kidding! So needless to say, everyday he has a new welt on this body just from being the ref...some of these kids are just not accurate at all. He enjoys every minute of it! As for me, I have just been working 4 days a week in two different dental offices now as a dental hygienist. It is such a blast! Fun to be done with school and working now! I love visiting with patients, and having those who request to have me at their next visit, or for their family...its a good feeling. You would think that since I have three day weekends every weekend that I would post blogs more often...but I definitely find things to do when I'm not working.

I did want to post of some fun pics of our fourth of july weekend though.

This is what happens when you:
1. put your camera on night mode without a flash
2. sparklers
3. crazy Miller kids

Pretty cool stuff!

Other random fun stuff:
Rock Band Party!

Jon and Leighann's wedding!

The most recent excitment of my summer while Alex is gone at camp...I've been reading...yes! Anyone who knows me well enough knows I don't usually read for fun. I've decided it would be a fun hobby for me to start...so my good friend Kresta recommended I read Twilight...the first of 4 by Stephanie Meyer. I am still on the first book, but I am making progress. I joined the ladies from church last week to go to Barnes and Noble to by the last in the series, Breaking Dawn. We stayed up til midnight just having a blast. I love all these ladies...they got me really excited about reading these books, not to mention the crazy fun with some freedom from the children! Thanks for a super wild and fun night!

Very cute post Stacy. I love the camera trick with the sparklers! I think I am officially the last person on Earth that hasn't read the Twilight books. I'm pretty sure I'll see the movies though. Looks like that party at the book store was fun.

Oh .... and just because you have been married for more then a year doesn't mean you have to blame your husband's welts on the kids at camp. Everybody knows what they really are. I think you've been reading about vampires a little to much. ;-)
