8 Things about Me!

Well, I was tagged a little while back, and have been slacking a bit...so I am finally posting this! I had some free time, and these random sort of things are fun to do... soOo...

8 Things I did yesterday:

-played on the wii fit a little bit (our last day of babysitting it...so sad...)
-watched football with Alex, with the lap top on my lap surfing the web
-did the laundry....oh so fun!
-ate lunch at Chipotle
-helped my dad and jason put up Christmas lights on their house
-went to the grocery store, stocked up on cereals! 24 oz. of lucky charms only $2.88 at FoodMaxx....quite a deal!
-went with my mom to the Christmas concert that the Relief Society sisters put on! LOVED IT!
-Watched the Incredibles with Alex, we even popped some popcorn!

8 Things I look forward to:

-Disneyland
-Christmas
-A few days off during Christmas time
-A cool trip we hopefully plan in the next few years...
-Having my school loans paid off!
-Alex finishing school!
-Being a Mommy!
-Having our own place...someday...

8 Restaurants I Like:

-Olive Garden
-Luna's Pizzeria
-Elephant Bar
-IHOP
-Does Taco Bell count?
-Yukon Jack's
-Famous Dave's BBQ
-Me-N-Eds Pasteria

8 Things On My Wish List:

-The perfect pair of jeans
-A pretty necklace to wear that goes with everyday outfits
-A larger closet
-A week off of paid vacation...one unfortunate thing my job doesn't give me...
-To EAT whatever I want without it affecting my body
-Alex getting straight A's this semester...It may be close...
-A very cute new hairdo
-A house with no TV for just one day.... that will never happen here!

8 Favorite TV Shows:

-How I met your Mother
-Survivor (this season in particular)
-The Office
-The Cash Cab
-Deal or No Deal
-What Not to Wear
-Trading Spaces...I used to watch it a lot, haven't seen it in awhile though
-CSI...the ones that I can handle...some get pretty graphic.

So the tag ended there...but I would like to add some more of my own...to make of total of 8 categories.

8 things I couldn't live without:

-Alex....I don't even want to imagine that!
-My family
-My hair straightner
-finger nail clippers
-peanut butter and honey
-a car to drive me places...I would die biking 12 miles one way to Sanger for work.
-the Gospel...without it all purpose in life would be gone
-a cell phone...they rule our lives now! haha...i love immediate contact with people, its great!

8 things I did as a youngster:

-Drove my sister nuts
-had an imaginary friend
-wore braces on my teeth
-fell off a slide and cracked my head
-brought my babydoll to school to play with at recess...yeah, 5th grade...
-tried out for the spelling bee, but completely failed, couldn't spell barbeque...I butchered it!
-did gymnastics at a young age.....at one point I was flexible
-knocked a tooth out on the trampoline


8 things I hope to DO someday:

-go to Bora Bora...or at least somewhere really pretty like it!
-run a mile in good time....haven't done that since high school
-be an awesome scrapbooker
-have a piano in my home to play
-serve a mission with Alex
-prepare the best meal Alex has ever eaten!....it's gonna be tough, Donna fed him too well!
-make a blanket, or quilt
-drive across the United States

Well I thought that was a lot of fun to do, hopefully it was fun to read...maybe you learned a little bit more about me....good or bad...haha.

So funny that you said Cash Cab. I was driving somewhere with my two kids recently and we saw this taxi that was a minivan. Taxi's are rare in Fresno so the kids were excited to see it. Then my 8 year old son goes "Oh my goodness mom it's the cash cab!!" It was so funny he wanted to see if we could ride in it. This is as we are in our own truck. Kids...

Student loans...eeks...I can't wait for ours to be paid for too. How are you doing? You guys are soo cute. :) I love reading your blog. How's Fresno? I so wish I was there right now.
