The fallen leaves!
I think they are so pretty to look at, and there are many beautiful orange and red ones around our neighborhood. Of course the older people freak out, and try raking them up....but I say, just wait until more have fallen, or until they get ugly brown...too much work if you try picking them all up in one day. haha. Seriously the day after the gardener's came, I saw a man raking leaves, because a lot more had fallen...haha. That just made me laugh, poor guy was working so hard.... I just wanted to tell him to wait a few more days because more leaves would be falling.
I love the cool bright yellow one!
Alex and I have been in the donut mood lately, so one saturday we decided to enjoy a few....
Alex thinks I'm crazy taking a picture of the donut he was eating.... but I just had to. I think it's so cute that he LOVES the sprinkle ones.
We had a lovely Thanksgiving too recently. Our day started with some Turkey Bowl football playing.... Of course I just bundled up to watch, and Alex got geared up for some good playing.
And here are some of my favorite girls that I don't see much of. Tara Fritz and Stephanie Hutchason. They were so fun to visit with!
For Thanksgiving we were able to spend a few hours at both of our parents homes. Which also meant two really good meals. I still don't know how I ate so much in such little time. It was wonderful! I don't think I can ever get enough mashed potatoes though! YUM! I've always enjoyed Thanksgiving, its a great holiday. We get together, eat good food, play fun games and no gift buying is involved....its perfect! So thank you to my wonderful mothers who prepared wonderful meals, and those who helped....like grandma's who brought some dangerously delicious desserts! ;) We had a great time!
Also...I had a blast on BLACK FRIDAY! This year I planned, so when I went with all the Miller girls I knew exactly what I was getting and ran and picked them up. We started at 5am at Gottschalk, then Target, the Sierra Vista Mall, and then Office Max. Very fun deals! I think we have started a fun new tradition!
I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving! Now we can get excited about CHRISTMAS!
I LOVE IT!!!
