Spring Fun!

Well, it's only Wednesday of our Spring Break week

and we still have lots of fun ahead of us.

So here's an overview of our week so far.

First of all, last weekend we had general conference,

I am glad we got to watch both sessions on Saturday and Sunday.

They were wonderful!

I always love that feeling of knowing what I need to do better on, but instead of being down about it, I feel very motivated and excited to improve!

I've already begun the new resolutions to a happier life!

So far so good.

So on Monday, Alex and I headed to MONTEREY!

It was fun to get away!

A friend I work with hooked us up with free guest passes to the aquarium.

I haven't been there since like 3rd grade....

and Alex was maybe like 10 or 11.

So we were both in for a new adventure.

It was nice weather on Monday.

Tuesday morning started with rain, and we went to do the 17-mile drive at pebble beach,

when we got there it was so pretty and no longer raining!

Then we enjoyed some clam chowder on fisherman's wharf.

YUM!

On our way home we stopped in Gilroy.

I've always heard it has good outlets, but I've never really travelled that way.

They have 145 stores! WOW!

It was pretty fun.

No we didn't go to all the stores...

We each got a new pair of shoes, and for a good deal!

Now here we are with Wednesday,

I had to work today, not too bad...

And Alex got some relax time, which turned out good because he's had a sore throat, hopefully he's much better for the next few days.

I think the seahorse exhibit was one of the coolest

I had no idea there were some crazy sea horse species

Now here we are at pebble beach!

I'm guessing this is why they call it pebble beach...

we saw lots of deer!

When we were on the wharf we spotted this little guy swimming around.

Cute little sea otters!

Well... I gotta run to see LOST now.

I love that show!

Then tomorrow we head to the next part of our spring break.
