The FUN started on Friday.
My friend Kresta invited me to go see "My Sister's Keeper" with her.
Good movie. Totally a tear jerker though, especially if someone you are close to has cancer. Even though my sister had leukemia as a kid, it didn't hit too close to home because I was only a newborn when my sister got cancer. Also, she is a survivor, which is a blessing.
Anyways, so it was fun to have some girly time.
Kresta and I also went swimming at my parents house. So that was way cool! Friday was great. Alex had to stay up at camp for work, so I went and hung out with Terra and Matt and some of their friends. We went swimming some more, and then watched a movie. It was great fun. Fortunately I have been so busy that I haven't gotten the chance to be bored without Alex around.
Here's a picture of some yummy pasta salad I made the other night for dinner. My moms recipe, except I used different noodles. It was yummy and fun! Great leftovers for lunch too.
So the 4th of July was super fun this year. Board games with my family, swimming, bbq with the miller family, and some fun fireworks with the Millers and the Hernandez family.
Last year, after we discovered the coolest setting on our camera, we have had too much fun with the sparklers.
Here's one of the best pictures! Awesome!!!
Here are some outtakes.... very cool, right?
Here's what my speedometer said on Sunday after I parked the car. haha. Funny!

So that pretty much sums up the fun weekend we had.
Sunday was cool. I love my calling right now. I am the primary teacher for the Valient 12 class. They are great kids. We have a good time in that class. Well, they have all but one graduated from primary. So the 3rd hour I get to go to Relief Society if my one girl doesn't come who goes to Primary. Its been great to go to Relief Society again. I am bummed though that this girl doesn't come as often as the rest. It's been good to sit with my Relief Society sisters though. Well, Alex is also in Primary, with the CTR 7 class. This past sunday, his companion teacher had some family in town because their new baby was blessed, so they left. Long story short... I got to sit in Alex's class the 3rd hour with him. It was so fun! I love watching Alex in action. I got to see how he teaches his kids, and runs his class. It was sweet. My heart just melted because he did such an awesome job, and was so cute! It was fun.
Well, on to this new week. I'm sure I will have much more to share!
